Tip #1: Save money on cleaning products
Consider
purchasing your cleaning products at your local dollar store instead
of the grocery store or discount retailer. We’ve saved between 50% and
75% buying many of our cleaning products at our local dollar store.
For $1, I get the same amount of cleaner for less and I haven’t
sacrificed quality. I’ve found no cleaning difference in products like
bathroom scrubbing bubbles, window cleaners, ammonias, dishwashing
liquid and all purpose cleaners. With name brand cleaners running on
average $3.00, you can see where these purchases can add up quite

So give the “dollar” brands a try.

Tip #6: Save money and time washing
floors

kitchen, breakfast room, laundry room and two bathrooms in about 15

Now, for
your money savings. When mopping all your rooms, don’t use multiple
wipes. Save 50% on replacement wipes by flipping over the wipe you’re
currently using and use the back of it! Ingenious, huh??? You should
find the back to have enough cleaning solution to mop over bathroom
floors, small sunrooms, or breakfast areas. Since these mops can get a
little costly over time, make the most of your investment. I’ve found
that one wipe can handle all the vinyl floors in our house. I use the
front side for our large breakfast area and kitchen. Then I use the
back side for our laundry room and two bathrooms.
Don’t let the market militia
convince you that you’ve got to use a new wipe for every room. Be
resourceful instead! Remember, the more you use of something; the more
of it you will need to buy. Remember, buying more of something is the
market militia’s game. But don’t play by their rules. Instead, be
creative and stretch your mopping dollars as far as you can! |
